My mom and grandmother hosted a bridal shower for me at my mom's house on Saturday, June 27! It was such a blast. All of my favorite people were there; old friends, new friends, work friends, and family! My soon to be in-laws drove in from Iowa for the day as well. We had amazing food and drinks (way too much Sangria). The house was beautiful!!! As per my gracious request, my friend Shannon made a gorgeous and very funky TP/paper towel wedding cake for me. It made the long journey from Milwaukee, and looked fabulous as our centerpiece! My best friend Katie bought wonderful shower gifts (sangria glasses), and she set up a gorgeous table display on the deck. We played a fun game in the yard: given 2 rolls of TP and 10 minutes, teams of 4 had to create a TP wedding dress!! I voted on the dresses and 1st and 2nd place prizes were given! Thanks to everyone who made this day soooo special for me!
