Avery's 1st Pumpkin Carving Experience

We didn't get a chance to carve pumpkins before Halloween because we went to Chicago.  So instead of making jack-o-lanterns, we made flower pots. I scooped out the goop, Avery played with it, and then I stuck a potted mum in the pumpkin.... very lovely on our steps.  Avery got mad when we stuck her feet in the pumpkin, but she loved standing by it and squeezing the guts.  She kept putting the guts in her mouth because it was so cold... and I had to keep pulling it out before she swallowed a seed.
