Avery and I made our first trip to Chicago without Daddy! We had a fantastic time, but we really missed him. Avery was a great travel companion. We only had to stop 2 times on the way there to get a bottle and change her diaper. She sat in her car seat and played, looked at herself in the mirror, and slept. We were able to visit with soooo many family and friends during out 5 day visit. We stayed with Grandma & Grandpa and Dziadek & Grandy. We had dinner with Marta, Matt, Uncle Andy, Jola, Monica, and Sean. We played at the lake with Katie, Jacob, Beth, Kate, Megan, and Luke. We also had breakfast with Great Grandma. Avery's tummy was a little upset for the first 2 days, and she spit up all day. I'm assuming it was from the non-stop rumbling of the car for 6 straight hours. She gave Dziadek a hard time on Thursday with her crazy crying fit. He had to call me at lunch and ask me to come home. Poor Dziadek!
