We went to Charles City for a short weekend getaway with our friends Brent and Rachel. We stayed in a gorgeous cabin on the river, took walks in the woods, told stories and cooked smores by the bonfire, cooked yummy meals, played lawn darts, watched scary movies, sat in the outdoor hot tub, and relaxed. It was wonderful not to have an agenda. The four of us have a 'Fright Night' every Halloween, and this year we decided to do something different and go out of town. Brent took a ton of pictures of Rachel and I... we were posing for 'senior portraits'.
