My friend Courtney and I decided to participate in R.A.G.B.R.A.I. (Register's Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa) this year. She has ridden before, but this was my first ride. It was amazing! One of the best things I've ever done by far. I highly reccomend it to all! We drove to Algona, Iowa and spent the night there. We woke up EARLY next morning and rode roughly 60 miles to Clear Lake, Iowa. The following day we rode 50 miles to Charles City, Iowa. I suffered from heat exhaustion after getting into Garner, IA, but thanks to the kind help from a group of ARMY cyclists, I was fine. I got a heat rash on my thighs and chaffing in areas that you don't want to be chaffed! We swung from a rope swing into a pond in Cartersville, IA. I was attacked by bike riding pirates in Rockwell, Iowa. INSANE!!!
