Halloween 2008

Joe and I had a great time on Halloween this year. Our evening was very relaxed and casual. We spent the evening at my mom's house in Woodridge, IL. We ate, drank, told stories, and had a lot of fun with the family. Among those in attendance was Joe, me, Mom, Rich, Pat, George, Gramma, Uncle Warren, Babs, Jason, Nicki, and some neighbors. Joe and I dressed up as a Bumple Bee and a Bee Keeper. Our costumes turned out really well, and they were very well recieved at the party. Even Gramma dressed up in her black slacks, black sweater, and cute little bat headband. Mom put on her spooky makeup, and Rich was a butchered up dead guy. The highlight of the evening was when the giant bowl of candy on the front porch was stolen by a young bunch of misfits! Jason and Rich chased them down the street and kicked their butts! They had to give back all of the stolen candy, as well as everything else they had, hahaha! Mom cooked a wonderful aray of soups and snacks: chili, Italian wedding soup, jambalya, and bigos. Everything was so good!
