During the weekend of October 10-12, we took a drive down to Southern Iowa! Rich & Lu, Amy & Matt, and Jen were already at the farm by the time that Joe and I arrived! We had an awesome weekend that was both relaxing and laborious! The 7 of us took a drive on some random gravel roads in search of large rocks. Why, you ask, did we want to find rocks? To line the beautiful fire pit that we made. Joe and Matt dug the hole, and we all lined the rocks around the perimeter. It turned out great! We were also able to watch some of the new barn being built. The boys were able to help out a bit, which was nice to see!
